Materials
All canal instruments made of stainless steel are manufactured from high-quality, hardened surgical steel. They are rustproof, anti-allergenic, sterilizable and therefore particularly hygienic.
The cases for the products are made of genuine leather, largely recycled PET felt, or Alcantara. Almost all of our brushes and combs are made from local beech wood, and the instrument storage boxes are made from solid real wood by Lebenshilfe Vorarlberg.
Manual work
Our scissors, pliers, and tweezers are all hand-ground, thus ensuring a very high degree of precision. For example, it takes 45 steps to produce one pair of canal nail scissors. Fine tips and precisely matched gripping or cutting surfaces are particularly important for the instrument to close accurately. This guarantees precise and comfortable use.
The precision in manufacturing not only ensures exact application but also a long lifespan for the instruments.
Longevity
A good product that lasts a lifetime has become a rarity in our fast-paced world.
Our durable products are resource-efficient and a worthwhile investment, with a lifespan of several decades. Each stainless steel product can be resharpened up to three times. During the resharpening service, the instrument is also cleaned, oiled, and screws are tightened if necessary.
Our diamond files last approximately 10 years with professional use and about 50 years with private use – glass files retain their abrasive power for a lifetime.
Small tip: If the abrasive power diminishes, simply hold it under running water and then dry it. This removes nail dust and restores the file's original excellent abrasive capability.
