Our founder, Angelika Canal, an experienced beautician and podiatrist, recognized early on the need for high-quality, professional tools in the cosmetic industry. What began with an everyday problem - a splinter in her finger and the lack of precise tweezers - developed into a brand that is now valued for quality, sustainability, and innovation.

A splinter in her finger prompted Angelika Canal, a trained pedicurist and cosmetician, to look for a suitable splinter镊子. She quickly discovered that there was no adequate quality available on the market.
As a result, Angelika founded Canal Instrumente in 1995 with the goal of supplying Austria and the German-speaking world with high-quality steel goods.
With great dedication, she gained her first customers. Initially, packages were prepared in her attic and personally taken to the post office.

In 1999, the partnership with Lebenshilfe Vorarlberg began. Since then, people with disabilities have supported us in packaging a variety of products.

Environmentally conscious action quickly became a priority. Since 2000, we have been using reusable product packaging as well as paper-based filling and packaging materials.

In November 2017, Angelika decided to hand over the business. Her two employees, Stefanie Fink & Patrick Stampfer, were able to step into her shoes.
