Manicure at home - no problem with our guide and the right tools

Taking time for ourselves and our beauty does us good and puts a smile on our faces. Only a little time, finesse, and a few helpers are needed for a professional-looking manicure. We'll show you step-by-step what you can do for beautiful and well-groomed hands and nails.

1. Cleaning

Bathe hands and nails in a small bowl of lukewarm water with a little shower gel for 3 minutes. For more stubborn dirt, e.g. after gardening, a hand and nail brush can also help to gently remove the dirt. A manicure tool can then be used to remove deposits under the nails. Discoloration can be removed with the manicure and cuticle file.

2. Well-maintained nail tools

To gently push back the cuticles, it is ideal to treat them with the cuticle oil care pen. It also provides cracked skin with jojoba oil and vitamins, making your hands look well-cared for. Afterwards, the cuticles can be gently pushed back with a wooden stick or the glass cuticle file, and excess cuticle can be filed away. If there is still cuticle sticking out, cuticle scissors are suitable for this.

3. Shape your nails

If you regularly care for your nails, you often don't need more than a file of your choice (diamond, sapphire, or glass file) to shorten and shape them. It is important that the nails are dry before filing. Ideally, file perpendicular to the nail from the outside inwards. To remove broken and torn areas on nails, you should use nail scissors or clippers instead of a file, as they cut the nail cleanly.

4. Polishing

Peeling the nails evens out scratches and longitudinal ridges. It improves blood circulation, and the nail is strengthened and given a beautiful, natural shine. Peel the nails with the colored side, then polish and seal with the white side.

5. Care instructions

For a perfect finish, apply the canal cuticle oil pen with a delightful lavender scent and a nourishing hand cream. Now your nails are perfectly manicured and look beautifully groomed. If you want some color, you can now start with the polish. Thanks to the pre-treatment with the buffer file, the nail polish lasts up to 3 times longer.
