Home Manicure
A manicure at home is no problem with our easy instructions and the right instruments.
Quality time for yourself and your beauty is very relaxing and puts a smile on your face. All you need for a
professional manicure is a little time, skilfulness and a few helpers. We will show you step by step what you can do
for reinigungbeautiful and well-groomed hands and nails.
1. Cleaning
First of all, soak hands and nails in a small bowl of lukewarm water with only a little shower gel for 3 minutes. For stubborn dirt, for example after gardening, a hand and nail brush helps to gently remove the dirt. Deposits under the nails can then be removed with a manicure instrument. Discolouration can be removed with the manicure and cuticle file.
2. Cuticle Care
To gently push back the cuticles, it is ideal to treat them with the cuticle oil care stick first. It moisturises cracked skin with jojoba oil and vitamins and leaves your hands well-groomed. The cuticles can then gently be pushed back with a wooden stick or glass cuticle file and excess cuticles can be filed down. If cuticles are still sticking out, cuticle scissors are suitable for removing them.
3. Shaping your nails
If you take care of your nails regularly, most of the time you don’t need much more than a file of your choice (diamond, sapphire or glass file) to shorten and shape your nails. Make sure your nails are dry before you begin. Ideally, hold the file perpendicular to the edge of the nail and file from the outside to the inside. To remove broken and torn areas on the nail, it is better to use nail scissors or clippers instead as you get a cleaner cut.
4. Polishing
Scratches and vertical nail ridges are levelled out by exfoliating the nails. It improves blood circulation and strengthens the nail, giving it a beautiful natural shine. Exfoliate the nails with the coloured side and then polish and seal them with the white side.
5. Final Nail Care
For a perfect finish, apply the canal cuticle oil care stick with wonderful lavender fragrance once again and then complete the manicure with a nourishing hand cream. Your nails are now perfectly manicured and look beautifully groomed. If you prefer a little more colour, you can now start with the nail polish. Thanks to the pre-treatment with the polishing file, the nail polish lasts up to three times longer.
